SBS Release! ~Mistresses of the Dark Betty Boos~

Hello, all! It's been a hectic last couple of days for me. What with cub scout preparations, my son's birthday tomorrow, and a whole lot of crafting, I am getting worn out! Lol! But boy, I don't know what I would do without the crafting, since it seems to balance everything else. When I get stressed there is nothing else I would rather do than close myself up in my studio and create.Do you all find that true for yourselves?

So now we have a cool new release from Simply B Stamps! These are just too cute and are going to be a whole lot of fun to use in some Halloween projects!

Here is what I used the Mistresses of the Dark Betty Boos for:

Betty Vacuum Witch

Mrs. Betty Munster

 Betty Dead Man's Toe

 Betty Addams and Abby

Betty the Book Witch

Betty Mistress of the Dark

What do you think of these femme fatales?  I think they are fantastic and so much fun to color!

Check out what the other DT members created with these:

It's SCC Challenge Time! ~Create Your Own Background~

Hello, everyone! It's another SCC challenge! It's time to get creative! This challenge is all about creating your own background! No patterned paper!

Create your Own Background, no embossing folders or digi's
Use Stencils, ink, delusions spray, whatever you like, just make your own background.

This lovely lady is  April Showers Rio and Toots! She's ready for a lovely and fun rainy day!

For my background, I used some glossy paper, alcohol inks (sailboat, denim, silver metallic, and pool), and some glossy accents for rain drops. I like how the background looks like water falling on a window pane.

Come join in the fun over at SCC! And be sure to check out all the DT creations!

On the Scout Out...

Hello, everyone! I hope today finds you all well. I just wanted to pop in and share a non-design team project with you all.

I recently became a den leader for my son's tiger scout den and I really did not expect to be this enthusiastic about the whole thing. I am not known for my patience or for my love of the outdoors, but I am having some real fun with this scouting thing! I found that I love teaching these boys things and planning out activities for them. I love to see the interest in their eyes when the den is talking about something new we are learning or going to try. I never knew I had it in me to want to do this. Now, I cannot see myself not being a den leader.

But let me tell you, I had no idea how much stuff I would be carrying around with me to meetings and outings! So I decided to create a personalized purse to carry all my scout stuff with me. And I wanted to show it to you.

What do you think? It's cute, right?!  Now, I love to create these bags and if you've ever been to my Etsy shop, you've seen some of the others I've made. Just let me know if you're interested in purchasing a custom bag of your own, and I will do my best to create one that is perfect for you!

SCC Challenge - Fall is Here!

Hello, everyone! Fall is here (well it's supposed to be...) Lol. I haven't seen much of it so far. I hope the temperatures start to drop soon around here!

So today is the start of another Simply Challenged Challenge, and it's all about the colors of fall! The ladies of Simply B Stamps have been invited to participate in the Pile It On Challenge (#36), which has a fun Tic-Tac-Toe game in it. Make sure to stop by both SCC and PIO for all the fun!

Here is the Tic-Tac-Toe board from Pile It On, followed by my creation using Lilly Pie from the Jude and the Rockers Fall line from Simply B Stamps.

It's "Pie Time!" I used the Fall colors, Image, and For a Child squares to create my Tic-Tac-Toe project.
Make sure to check out the rest of the SCC DT and our Guest Designer, for some more wonderful projects and inspiration!
