SBS Showcase! ~Trapeze Ariel~

Hello, everyone! It's time to show off the amazing Ariel on the flying trapeze! She's from the Jude at the Circus collection and can be found here.

This lovely lady, who is currently hanging upside down, is Trapeze Ariel. Don't you just love her pose! I wonder how she keeps her glasses on... Lol.

I used Trapeze Ariel on this 6"x6" notebook. I used chipboard, Imaginisce papers, The Cinch, and We R Memory Keepers binding in clear. The image is colored with Copics, then I added some Stardust Stickles to make her costume sparkle.

SBS Showcase ~Little Hobo Clown Oscar~

Hi, all! It's time for another Simply B Stamps showcase!

I'm here again showing off another cutie from the Jude at the Circus collection from SBS. He's such a sweet little thing and I, for one, am delighted that he has a smile on his face. My experience with these "hobo" clowns is that they always have a frown and tear painted on. Too sad for my taste! So thanks, Betty, for making him cheery! I love his sly little smile.

Here is my Little Hobo Clown Oscar:

I made this little notebook (3"x6") from chipboard, covered with some Imaginisce paper. I used the Cinch and We R Memory Keepers binding, and colored the image and the "smile" in the sentiment with Copics.

Thank you for stopping by! I'll see you on the 25th of March for my next showcase!

SBS Showcase ~Cutie Clown Lily~

Hello, all! It's the first showcase for me this month. And this month, the SBS gals are showing off the new line Jude at the Circus. If you've been around and visiting us, you would have seen how adorable and fun these images are!

So here is my project using Cutie Clown Lily.

I made a 5.5"x7" notebook to showcase Cutie Clown Lily. I used chipboard, We R Memory binding, the Cinch, and papers from Imaginisce. I used some Cotton Candy Stickles on the cotton candy and the image was colored with Copics.

You can find Cutie Clown Lily and all the rest of the Jude at the Circus gang at Simply B Stamps!

Thanks for popping in! I hope to see you soon for my next showcase!

Simply Challenged Challenge - March 10, 2014 - Polka Dots!

Hello, all! It's challenge time again over at SCC! Come and join the fun!

This month's challenge is all about the dots. Polka Dots! Use polka dotted paper, in ribbons or washi tape, or paint them on! Just use polka dots on your creation. Now, no cheating; polka dots on the image don't count!

This is my creation using polka dots and one of the new Jude at the Circus images from SBS!

This gorgeous little thing is Feather Girl Brittany from the Jude at the Circus collection. She's got a Big Top Personality and I couldn't help but add her to one of my little 6x6 notebooks. I used some carnival themed papers from GCD Studio for this, along with some Thickers, chipboard, Cotton Candy Stickles, and spiral binding from We R Memory Keepers. I used the Cinch to make the binding holes and Copics to color the image.

What do you all think? She's a cutie! Right!? Stop by the SCC Blog and read the details of the challenge as well as check out all the creation the DT made for you all!

SBS Release ~Jude at the Circus!~

Hello, all! Come one ,Come all! Welcome to the Greatest Show on Earth! This fantastic release from Simply B Stamps is such fun! It's Jude and the Rockers at the circus! I don't know about you all but my first experience with the circus was just a few years ago, taking my son for his first time (which was mine as well). And I loved it! It's a pretty magical and wondrous experience, I think.

Well, these images are perfect for those of us that love the circus and carnivals! These are just to cute to ignore!

I am showcasing two of the images here on my blog. If you would like to see the rest of the images, just pop on by the SBS Blog and the other DT members' blogs (I've added a list below).

May I present, Jude the Ring Master!

For this cute 5.5"x7" notebook, I used Imaginisce Life is a Circus papers, chipboard, and a We R Memory Keepers binding. The image was colored with Copics.

And Elphie and Ali!

For this 6"x6" notebook, I used papers from the GCD Studios Funhouse stack, chipboard, a roses punch, and a We R Memory Keepers spiral binding. The image was colored with Copics, then I added some Stickles to add shine.
